2. Quotations and estimates
We are happy to provide quotations for water softeners, installation, servicing and other services.
Unless otherwise stated:
Quotations are based on the information available to us at the time.
An installation quotation may be subject to a site survey or assessment of the proposed installation location.
Any additional work required because of previously unknown site conditions will be discussed with you before the work is carried out.
A quotation is not a contract until it has been accepted by you and confirmed by us.
Prices will be clearly communicated before you commit to an order.
3. Products
We supply a range of water softeners, including compact, electric, twin-tank and non-electric systems, together with water filtration products and water softener salt.
Product images and descriptions on our website are provided for general information. While we make reasonable efforts to ensure information is accurate, product appearance, specifications and availability may change.
Where a particular model or specification is important to you, we will confirm this before your order is placed.
4. Installation
Where installation is included:
Installation will be carried out with reasonable care and skill.
The installation location must be reasonably accessible and suitable for the proposed system.
You are responsible for providing access to the property at the agreed time.
We may need to assess the existing plumbing and installation area before confirming the final installation arrangements.
Any additional work that is reasonably required and was not included in the original quotation will be discussed with you before it is undertaken.
We will take reasonable care when working in your property. However, we cannot be responsible for pre-existing defects, deterioration or problems with plumbing, fittings, flooring, cabinetry or other property that were not caused by our work.
5. Existing plumbing and equipment
Water softener installation may involve connecting to or modifying existing plumbing.
We cannot accept responsibility for faults or failures in existing plumbing, pipework, fittings, appliances or other equipment that were present before our work began.
If we identify an issue that may affect the installation, we will discuss it with you before proceeding.
6. Servicing and repairs
We provide servicing and maintenance for water softeners and related equipment.
Our service may include inspection, cleaning, adjustment and replacement of appropriate service components where required.
If additional repairs or replacement parts are required, we will explain the work and any additional costs before carrying out significant additional work.
Where a system is particularly old, damaged or obsolete, we may recommend replacement rather than repair.
7. Water softener salt and other products
Water softener salt is supplied subject to availability.
Delivery and collection arrangements, where available, will be confirmed when you place your order.
Customers should store salt in a dry and suitable location and follow the manufacturer's recommendations for use.
8. Payment and deposits
A deposit may be required when placing an order for a water softener, installation or other services.
The deposit amount and payment arrangements will be confirmed when you receive your quotation or order confirmation.
The remaining balance will be due in accordance with the payment terms agreed with you before the work is carried out.
Any deposit or payment will be handled in accordance with your statutory consumer rights.
9. Cancellation and consumer rights
If you are a consumer, you may have a legal right to cancel certain contracts made at a distance or away from our business premises.
For many service contracts, the cancellation period is normally 14 days from the date the contract is entered into. Different rules can apply depending on how and where the contract was made.
If you ask us to begin providing a service during the cancellation period, you may be required to pay for services supplied before cancellation where permitted by law. In some circumstances, the right to cancel can end once a service has been fully performed, subject to the applicable legal requirements.
If you wish to cancel or rearrange an installation, service or other appointment, please contact us as soon as possible using the contact details provided on our website or quotation.
We do not charge a cancellation fee for cancelled or rearranged appointments.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory consumer rights.
10. Faulty goods and services
Your legal rights are not affected by these Terms & Conditions.
Consumer goods must comply with the requirements imposed by law, including being as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose where applicable.
Services must be carried out with reasonable care and skill.
If you believe a product is faulty or that a service has not been carried out correctly, please contact us so that we can investigate the matter and agree an appropriate resolution.
11. Warranties
Where a manufacturer provides a warranty for a water softener, water filtration system or other product supplied by us, the manufacturer's warranty terms and conditions will apply.
The length and terms of any manufacturer's warranty will depend on the individual product and manufacturer.
We will provide you with details of the applicable warranty where appropriate.
A manufacturer's warranty may be subject to conditions, including correct installation, appropriate use, servicing and maintenance, and the use of suitable consumables.
Your statutory consumer rights are not affected by any manufacturer's warranty.
12. Access to your property
Where an installation, delivery or service appointment has been arranged, you must provide reasonable access to the property at the agreed time.
If access is not available or the agreed work cannot reasonably be carried out because of circumstances at the property, we may need to rearrange the appointment.
We do not charge a cancellation fee for cancelled or rearranged appointments.

Subject to the above, we will not be responsible for losses that are not reasonably foreseeable or for problems caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control.
16. Events outside our control
We will not be responsible for delays or failure to perform our obligations where this is caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control.
This may include severe weather, flooding, supply shortages, transport disruption, utility failures, illness or other circumstances that could not reasonably have been prevented.
Where possible, we will contact you and arrange an alternative date or solution.

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect changes to our services, website or legal requirements.
The version displayed on this page will show the date it was last updated.
Terms that have already been agreed with a customer will not be changed retrospectively in a way that removes or reduces the customer's legal rights.

Any disputes will be dealt with by the courts of England and Wales, subject to any rights you may have as a consumer under applicable law.
